《道德经》第二章

天下皆知美之为美，恶已；皆知善，斯不善矣。有无之相生也，难易之相成也，长短之相刑也，高下之相盈也，音声之相和也，先后之相随，恒也。是以圣人居无为之事，行不言之教，万物作而弗始也，为而弗志也，成功而弗居也。夫唯弗居，是以弗去。

DAO DE JING( ETHICAL CODE)

All people know the reason that beauty is beautiful, as ugly exists.

All people know the reason why goodness is good, as evil exists.

Therefore, existence and non-existence interchange with each other.

Difficulty and the easy facilitate each other.

Long and short shape each other.

High and low balance each other.

Sound and voice harmonize each other.

Front and back accompany each other.

This is permanent.

Therefore, the sages never do act recklessly,

And never teach anti-natural education.

They let all the things grow up naturally but never control them,

They create the things but never possess them,

They promise things but never think they are capable.

They even become successful but they’re never arrogant.

As so long as they’re never arrogant,

They never think there’s something they’ve lost.

世界での人々は美しさが何というかと分かれるならば醜いものとなり、

善が何というかと分かれば無善なものとなります。

有り無しはお互いに引き合い、難易はお互いに促され、長短はおたがいに比較され、

高低はお互いに傾け、音声はお互いに調和され、前後はお互いに伴うというのが

これが永久である。だから聖人としてはわがままのようで対応されません、アヒルの言葉で教れません。

すべてのものが自由自在に盛らせ、コントロールをほどかされません。

それにしても成功させることになってから自慢な気持ちが全然ありません。
